CHRONIC Daydreamers...

Unite!!! B|

Post yours.

Here's one of my many, countless, ongoing daydreams...:

I'm flying this huge aircraft (the exact type changes frequently, since I'm such a bad-ass and can fly anything :D) and I'm dropping troops over an LZ that I've dropped troops at multiple times before.

I'm talking with the copilot and suddenly things look wrong...just really wrong. There are people already on this LZ...and holy shit they don't look happy to see us.

So we make a decision to change the location of the drop. We decide NOT to tell anyone, rather than risk hearing them tell us to drop here any way.

We inform the JM what's going on, he agrees, we move on, drop everyone uneventfully. We start to climb, then turn to head back. An INCREDIBLE explosion off the right wing rocks us. We have an engine out -no, it isn't 'out', it was shot. It was taken out by someone on the ground that we can't see...we haven't had problems with ground to air in this location at all...ever. Weird, but I have more important things to contemplate and this second...

The plane starts to yaw right and our bank angle is too steep; there is nowhere out here we can land and we've had to have sustained worse damage that we can't see.

We're going down, we both know it.

So I say, "May day..." then I realise if we're getting out, we go NOW. We scramble out of the seats and try to get out the open door. I'm hoping these stupid round parachutes we've got on will open before we...

DAMMIT! >:(>:(>:( Son-of-a-....freaking fragga-lagga. I just missed my damn exit. >:(

Now I have to take the next exit and drive back north one to get onto my freeway...:S

Happens all the time! :ph34r::$

So what are your spacey daydreams?

I find that dwelling on daydreams is SO much better than dwelling on traffic...B| -That is, until I miss the damn exit! >:(>:(

Landing out. Should i take the safe and easy grassy little spot over there, or should i swoop between those two buildings and end up right in front of the door of that ice cream place.:S

I have this daydream about this redhead flying a plane and I'm in it.

Weird things are happening all over the place. We fly around for awhile and after i get out I notice she has missed her exit. :D:D:D

I daydream about my next race alot when I have on coming up. I remember the past ones and try to mix in upcoming expected results.
At work they tease me as it's usually yeah you were talking but I really wasn't listening/paying attention:D

I did a lot of studying on 'creative visualization' and mental preparation by performers and athletes (don't ask me why; it's a long story!) Just before 'go time', the best athletes review every victory they'd ever had...they visualize the current contest and see the outcome vividly. Every competition they go through their mental imagery to convince their own mind that there can be only ONE outcome of that competition. -and guess what? In their vision, they always WIN! :o;)

The best athletes have the best mental game. After all, it ain't the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog. B|

"that industrial haze looks cool. if i approached it from the north i can come in right at that valley between those two big parts then i can do a hard turn to cruise past the rest of it as ...."

a loud honk interupts me as the guy behind me is not so nicely letting me know the light has changed.

Well I can't say that I always envision myself winning, but I do see myself doing well. Maybe I should try the winning scenario for my next race.

I agree 100% that it's mental. I can't tell you how many times a race my mind sends a loud as hell "STOP" my way, and I send a loud as hell "NO WAY" back.
