What size is your bed?

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine told me that I should not have a pillow-top king size bed because I'm a single girl and I don't need anything that big. Well, guess what? Size matters, and I like it big. I've had my bed for a few years, and it is by far the most comfortable bed I ever owned. I know some people could agree with that statement...

So, what size bed do you sleep in at night?

Although a King would be cool I settled for a queen to save some cash. It was big enough for my ex-girlfriend and I.

Now that I am single again the thing seems huge lol.

We just got a king up from our queen. And it's got drawers under it. This makes it a tall bed. So I have a footstool to get in the bed when I don't feel like running and leaping in the bed.

I tell people I feel like I climbed the beanstalk into the giant's house and am sleeping in his bed.

I have a queen sized bed... it was a hand-me-down from my grandfather I think...

I've considered replacing it but ultimately I don't see the point its comfortable enough, big enough to sleep two (unless the other occupant is my dog... she's a bed hog...) and frankly I haven't found something more comfortable somewhere else (at least when I've looked)

I'm also quite confused about the really freaking tall beds that I see... I used to fall out of bed as a kid and that would seriously worry me... :o:|

The queen size bed I used to have was very tall. B| If it wasn't for the footstool, I probably would have slept on the couch while I owned that thing. I liked the way it looked in the store, but I didn't realize it was so high off the ground a short person would have a hard time getting on it. :S

I love my bed now, so I'm happy. :)

my ex had a pillow-top mattress and I swear it was the most comfortable bed in the world. Too bad for him that he could never wake me up for middle of the night nooky as it was so comfortable!

i have a queen and it works great for me.

I have a queen but would like to get a King. I just can't fit a King size bed in my room....

Size does matter when it has to do with the bedroom....

I have one of the new 12" thick latex king size with pillow top and it is to die for. The latex prevents mites and does not leave an indentation where you sleep so it is like sleeping on a new bed every night.

we just got one of those about a month ago upsizing from our queen size I love the extra room and the pillow top it takes up most of the room but hell the room is for sleeping anyway my as well be all bed

JohnMitchell and I have a Queen. We've slept in Kings before and I hated it because then we sleep too far apart. I like sleeping close. Not on top of each other all night but close enough to touch and know the other person is still there. Perfect. B|

Yeah - I hear ya. We recently switched to a king, and I find myself searching for Cindy in the middle of the night. Plus the king is almost too big for the "under the bed restraint " system.B|B|B|

But it does leave room for the dog:)

Yup! See! Queen is perfect. I don't have a dog so I don't have to worry about that.

As for the restraint system, maybe you should switch to something you can just secure to the corners of the frame or something. ;) That way it doesn't have to travel all the way under the bed. :D:D
