sharimcm 0 #1 August 8, 2007 A friend of mine told me that I should not have a pillow-top king size bed because I'm a single girl and I don't need anything that big. Well, guess what? Size matters, and I like it big. I've had my bed for a few years, and it is by far the most comfortable bed I ever owned. I know some people could agree with that statement... So, what size bed do you sleep in at night? DougH 270 #3 August 8, 2007 Although a King would be cool I settled for a queen to save some cash. It was big enough for my ex-girlfriend and I. Now that I am single again the thing seems huge lol."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
LisaM 0 #4 August 8, 2007 We just got a king up from our queen. And it's got drawers under it. This makes it a tall bed. So I have a footstool to get in the bed when I don't feel like running and leaping in the bed. I tell people I feel like I climbed the beanstalk into the giant's house and am sleeping in his bed. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Icon134 0 #6 August 8, 2007 I have a queen sized bed... it was a hand-me-down from my grandfather I think... I've considered replacing it but ultimately I don't see the point its comfortable enough, big enough to sleep two (unless the other occupant is my dog... she's a bed hog...) and frankly I haven't found something more comfortable somewhere else (at least when I've looked) I'm also quite confused about the really freaking tall beds that I see... I used to fall out of bed as a kid and that would seriously worry me... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

The queen size bed I used to have was very tall. If it wasn't for the footstool, I probably would have slept on the couch while I owned that thing. I liked the way it looked in the store, but I didn't realize it was so high off the ground a short person would have a hard time getting on it. I love my bed now, so I'm happy. MikeForsythe 0 #18 August 8, 2007 I have one of the new 12" thick latex king size with pillow top and it is to die for. The latex prevents mites and does not leave an indentation where you sleep so it is like sleeping on a new bed every night.Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is! As for the restraint system, maybe you should switch to something you can just secure to the corners of the frame or something. That way it doesn't have to travel all the way under the bed.
