Kia Sedona?

Recommended Posts

Anybody have one? Any positives/negatives? Wife and I are considering trading our Vibe in for one... 10 year/100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty's a pretty darn good sell to ignore.

About 4 or 5 years ago the wife and I were considering a Kia for a second vehicle. We happened to pull up next to one at the bank and asked them how they liked it...they said they hated it and that sure the warranty is great but since they have to take it in for service every week it kinda defeats the purpose.

I've heard they're better now though...:P

If theirs was a first year make, that would be understandable. I never buy a vehicle that comes out in its first or second year.

Run away.

Run fast.

Run far.

The Honda Odyssey is the best mini-van on the market, period. Beg, borrow, steal to seal the deal. Spend a few extra dollars on a Honda, you'll be glad you did.

Other than that, the Chrysler/Dodge line up, while "plain" is competent and the offerings from Toyota and Nissan are very good too.
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Stay far away from KIAs. We've owned two and they weasled out of paying for a new break system (at 20k miles) by saying it was normal wear and tear. The first 3 months of the other KIAs life was spent in the shop after some faulty sensor made it shut down at idle. Neither time did KIA do the right thing and pay for it.

Shitty vehicles, shitty customer service and by proxy, shitty warranty. Its not worth any money you would save... buy quality and you will thank yourself.

We have Honda and Toyotas now and couldn't be happier.

I saw a KIA Sedona parked in a parking lot for 4 months with a huge sign on the side that said:

THINKING ABOUT BUYING A KIA SEDONA? THINK AGAIN!!!
ASK MY WHY: And then it listed the guys phone number..

I wasn't thinking about buying a car (esp a kia), so I didn't bother to take his number down for you... ;)

I think it is safe to say that he was mad that his car was a billboard and he was riding the bus to work... LOL

nuff said.
