Ecard scams?

I am getting a lot of spam from "ecard" crap.
"Your neighbor has sent you an Ecard",
Your schoolmate has sent you an ecard,
click on the link or paste the address in your browser.....
WTF is this crap? How does it work?

Nope, I don't know what the scam is.
Although stydying some of these they appear to be a .exe download that infects your computer for some unknown purpose.

They seem to be a good 4-6% of the spam going through my servers ATM.

if you hit the link and it installs crap and gives you a virus.

I have gotten several emails like that. If I don't know who it's from, it goes into the spam folder. Fuck it.

I am also getting a butt load of those emails, all going to the bulk folder though. Never open them unless it says a name of someone you know in the subject. If you figure out whats causing it or how to get rid of them let me know!

eaven then I dont open them, no way to get rid of them untill compromised email servers get fixed blocking there turds from spaming like this
