skydivellama 0 #4 July 18, 2007 Not a vet yet, but a vet student. As I'm sure all the pet owners on here will agreee, definitely take him to the vet! Chances are he just ate something that disagreed with him and will get it out of his system (good job with the electrolytes to keep him going until it clears up, but he might not be absorbing much from it if he's still not keeping anything down), but there are a lot more serious possibilities like some large object stuck somewhere that will need to be removed surgically. Even if you do just have to let it work itself out they can give him some IV fluids to replace what he's losing. ladyskydiver 0 #6 July 18, 2007 When you take your dog to the vet, also, take part of the bush or if you know the name of the bush, make sure you have that. If your dog ingested part of the bush, the vet can look it up to see if it's toxic or not to pets.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. lilDevil 2 #16 July 20, 2007 Friday 2pm. Just been to see my lil boy he managed a little tail wagg, hell be there till at least monday. The vet said it definatley something he ate in the bush could have been some nasty bug lurking in the soil attached to whatever he ate.``````````````````````````````````` " Cant keep a good woman down " Angels have wings, but devils can fly ! pinkfairy 0 #23 July 23, 2007 Good to hear that he recovered! I like dogs, but I don't think I understand them. They sometimes to incredibly stupid things, I once met a dog who kept attacking a bumble bee's nest, and got stung on the nose constantly, but still kept doing it. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

lilDevil 2 #25 July 23, 2007 are you still training him? Glad Jakeis OkYes but having him with a 9month old bully does have a few draw backs lol now theres two nutters. As I was leaving to pick him up the vet called and said we better keep him a bit longer as he still got the runs, hes still cleaning everything out of his system. So I went to visit, and he now has a new nick name of major pain :-) he has regained his normal personality and back to being all bouncy and licking everyone, the girls at the vets have been pounced on a few times when going to feed him :-) Hes also back to playing in his water :-) small water dishes and Staffys dont mix haha. So anyway the next time i post hell be home ! :-) ``````````````````````````````````` " Cant keep a good woman down " Angels have wings, but devils can fly !
