skymama 37 #9 July 17, 2007 When we were in Paris, we took a river cruise down the Seine. As we moved along, we noticed a bunch of people standing on the shore in fancy dress. We had already passed a whole bunch of barges that seemed to have wedding receptions going on, so we just thought it was another reception. As we passed under a bridge to the other side, we saw a humongous 20' fake cake and other decorations under a huge tent and suddenly realized we were passing the Ratatouille premiere for the celebrities! We scrambled for our cameras. I think my daughter got a few pictures before we got too far away, I'll try to remember to post them. It was really cool! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
boinky 0 #10 July 17, 2007 I took my son to see it on opening day. Unrealistic as hell. But very adorable. Of course, I'm just a kid at heart. I LOVE Disney cartoons. quade 4 #11 July 17, 2007 Quote Unrealistic as hell. Wait . . . you mean to tell me that rats can't cook or talk? I'm almost certain the movie is supposed to be an allegory. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

jimmytavino 16 #13 July 17, 2007 like all Pixar movies, it's very detailed, and goes the extra mile regarding characters backgrounds and "point of view" camera movements... The chase scenes and action scenes are terrific, many of the "sets" seem to be like Photographic Backdrops , upon which the animation is superimposed....They are very elaborate and accurate... The rats are drawn to be somewhat lovable, and many of the "human" characters are appealing..... The opening sequence with the trigger happy Old Lady, cracked me up....a good "popcorn matinee"...... jmy
Tink1717 2 #14 July 18, 2007 Actually, I saw it with my girlfriend and her grand daughter. The kids were all squirming and bored after the first 1/2 hour. The adults, me included, had a good time.Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... It really pisses him off. -The World Famous Tink. (I never heard of you either!!)
