Walt That's just the thing, though...the only way we'll get anyone's version of the story is through the media. Pure speculation here, but I bet the woman with the kid went to a lawyer and the lawyer put out a press release with a really juicy story and the media jumped on it without considering for a moment that there must be more to the story. I *seriously* doubt that the media interviewed any other passengers *except* those on a contact list provided by the woman's lawyer, who must have had a stroke when the kid acted out on national television. ACMESkydiver 0 #235 July 16, 2007 FWIW, I did get a seemingly automated response to my query to the airline: Quote Dear Mrs. (my name): Thank you for your comments. Continental Airlines is sensitive to the needs of families traveling with small children. We truly regret that media accounts of this particular event have left you feeling that this flight attendant did not respond to the situation in a way that met the needs of all involved. However, this was an ExpressJet Airlines flight and the employees involved were ExpressJet employees, so this matter is being addressed by that airline. We understand litigation has been filed, so we are unable to comment any further at this time. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Continental Airlines is a family-friendly airline with a reputation for exemplary customer service and safety, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve your family's travel needs in the near future. Regards, Marla Daniels Manager, Customer Communication Continental Airlines TRACKING NUMBER: A00003151489-00018409728 And then this from ExpressJet: Quote Dear Mrs. Jaye (my name): Thank you for your comments.
