skymama 37 #3 July 16, 2007 I've had that problem for years, I can totally relate! The only thing that helps me is making sure there is white noise in the room that is louder than the pulse in my ear.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
McDuck 0 #4 July 16, 2007 I get that occasionally, but it usually accompanies either a cold, flu or sinus infection. Shifting my head/ear around until I can't hear the pulse sometimes does the trick, but by the time I find the right spot, I'm usually struggling to get back to sleep.Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. monkycndo 0 #10 July 16, 2007 I had the same problem. I found that by putting my hand between my head and the pillow was just enough to raise my ear slightly off the pillow. Couldn't hear my pulse. Works like a charm. For me, I have difficulty sleeping on my stomach. I can sleep on someone else's, but not mine. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. billvon 3,120 #17 July 16, 2007 When I don't exercise (i.e. drive to work, sit on my butt all day) I have trouble sleeping for a dozen reasons - too hot, too cold, neck hurts when I do X, whatever. When I exercise (go to the DZ, bike to work etc) I don't have any trouble because I'm tired at night. So for me it's pretty straightforward.
