kingbunky 3 #27 June 27, 2007 Quote My beef with our Pontiac Vibe is that the headlights are wired to stay on all the time the engine's running. Why?? I can't turn them off. every vehicle in canada is like that by law now. you get used to it. or buy an old car."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." So when you go through a drive-thru at night, you have no choice but to blind the people in front of you? Daytime running lights and automatic headlights are only cool with a corresponding override button. My next vehicle will have all three (DRLs, autos, and override). kingbunky 3 #29 June 27, 2007 the daytime running lights are not that bright. you can tell they're on, but they don't illuminate much. in most cases, dtl are just your high beams with reduced voltage (or current) sent to them. with my last car, when i pulled the hand brake on, the dtl went off. with my new car, i can't seem to shut them off at all. would suck at a drive in."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." pwln 0 #30 June 27, 2007 Now that I've used up that fluid I put in it, I can't for the life of me, seem to get it to beep again. Maybe It wanted me to open the hood. I called the dealer and they told me that if it was beeping, there "should" be a light. Next time it happens I'll check the air pressure.
pwln 0 #31 June 27, 2007 On our 03 Vibe GT the DRL would stay off until you released the parking brake. Her 07 is auto (they did not make a GT for 07). I don't even know if the parking brake works on this one.
