ntrprnr 0 #1 June 23, 2007 You know, just in case anyone's curious. Blackberry doesn't work. Only food open is McDonald's. My connection isn't for another 11 hours, and the lounge doesn't open until 8am. I'm thinking about putting on running shorts and running the length of the airport. I'd probably get arrested. On the plus side, though, Ambien is still a beautiful thing. Flight from NYC to Seoul was spectacular. :)_______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" TheAnvil 0 #6 June 24, 2007 Just wait until the city wakes up, if Seoul is your final destination. The kimchee market is fantastic. Itaewon is a ton of fun as well. ntrprnr 0 #8 June 24, 2007 Totally agree. Sadly, it's a Sunday - and the city wakes up later than usual. So I'm sitting in the lounge, and will kill time here. (Showers! Woo!) Will head to Singapore later today, and will hit the markets on my trip home next week._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues." airkid 0 #11 June 24, 2007 when i was at Seoul-Inchon like 15, 16 months ago it was boring there... but we got a kick outta smokin those skinny cigarettes and riding the luggage carts back and forth... but there are little computer terminals there where you can put in some won and spend some time on the net... or you could go to a whore house inside the city.... they are the buildings with cameras on the outside angled down the side walk.... but the girls usually run out whenever they see an american walking (hence the reason for the cameras)... there is plenty to do in seoul... you could harrass the cops and their weird jockey lookin uniforms....anything you want
bob.dino 1 #12 June 25, 2007 It's a bloody long airport, so you'd get a decent workout running from one end to the other. Really nice desk staff too. I was on a flight from Osaka to Sydney routed through Incheon. The flight crew at the airline went on strike, so the staff got me a seat on their direct competitor's aircraft. I even got into Sydney 10min earlier than originally planned. Can you imagine United going "Sorry, we've got a cabin crew strike. We've booked you on an American Airlines flight that'll get you in at the same time. Your luggage has been checked through - I've just talked to the man that's loaded it onto your aircraft. Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience"? I now like that airport.

ntrprnr 0 #14 June 25, 2007 Definitely nice people. But ever notice how in virtually all Asian countries, they never take you seriously until you show them your boarding pass? "Which way is the bathroom?" "Ah, may I see your boarding pass? Very good. It's down this hall to the right." It's funny._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?"
