JohnMitchell 16 #7 June 23, 2007 Extreme has become a marketing adjective, used to sell everything from antifreeze to zit cream. Images of skydiving connotate extreme faster than just about any other. Yet these Madison Avenue images remain just a vicarious tingle of excitement for 99.9% of the population, the couch bound moribund mass consumers. Our sport may be shown as mainstream, but it never will be. BTW, I love seeing skydiving commercials. Even tried out for a part in one, but I can't act my way out of a paper bag.
