Don, Don, and Ralph. 3 old guys that started a DZ for the love of the sport, not the money (they all have real, weekday jobs). Where ever you are, it's worth the trip. The Porter doesn't fly much any more. Lack of interest I guess. Last I knew, they had a 205 and a 206 also. It's your life, live it! Patman 0 #35 November 19, 2003 So Jim, ya ever jumped a Tripacer? Got one that's a ball to jump from! Been out of four of the new light planes and ultalights too. They buikd them, and the rule goes, you can't bring your first passenger back. Nice to be the only one with a rig! Don't tell me I can't! I already know that! Haven't you seen my x-rays? Lee03 0 #40 November 19, 2003 Well, in my very short skydiving career, three different planes so far, there will be more in the future. Twin Otter CASA 212 King Air-------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
Erroll 80 #41 November 20, 2003 QuoteDoes anyone actually read other people's posts on a thred like this? or is it all about self glorification? I certainly enjoy reading about other people's experiences and I also enjoy reminiscing about my own, and thinking back about the various aircraft which I have jumped from is just that. I fail to see how listing aircraft can be construed to be 'self-glorification'.
