sunshine 2 #28 May 29, 2007 Quotet was crap...special effects were good, but the movie is not even close to the first one.....oh and it drug on......and on.........and on. A group of us from the DZ went to see it saturday night at 10:10pm. I can't believe i stayed awake during the whole thing. The highlight of the movie was me and my friend jeff screwing off doing the whole "yawn and put the arm around the other" thing. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! skymama 37 #32 May 29, 2007 I saw it yesterday. For about an hour near the end I was just thinking, "for the love of God, please make it end!" I wouldn't see it again. rehmwa 2 #33 May 29, 2007 We liked it. rehashed earlier jokes too much (yes, I know the rum is gone, it was funny the first couple times, but not the seventh) less "fun", more serious What the hell does Keira Knightly keep doing with her lips? If she was coached to do that, then it's a long term mistake. It's super annoying. She also keeps pronouncing "fire!!" as "Fri-rer!!" (as in fire the cannons). ... 2fat2fly 0 #34 May 29, 2007 Quote Sold out here all day...looking forward to seeing it. I'm surprised that they're going to show that at the squeak and tissue theater that you normally go to.I am not the man. weegegirl 2 #35 May 29, 2007 I saw it last night. Fell asleep a couple of times. It was so freakin long and way over the top. The parachute thing was funny. And the wedding scene just made me roll my eyes.

I thought that Calypso should have made at least one more appearance and done some seriously bad shit . . . then go from there - I was looking forward to seeing her power.I would kinda want a wedding like that . . . just a precursor of things to come.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

I agree. I was kinda disapointed when they freed calypso and all she did was make that big whirl pool. I was expecting something bigger. They set the ending up so well for another movie. ExAFO 0 #38 May 29, 2007 Meh... They should've cut 45 min and left it out until the Director's Cut DVD.Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.
DJL 235 #39 May 29, 2007 Didn't think it was that great. They tried to pack so much piratey stuff in there that it became distracting. They did such a bad job of making the plots twisty and unpredictable that this became a new sort of predictability. The supporting characters took turns trying to upstage each other with bouts of bad pirate acting. I started laughing when Keira belted out her motivational speech. Yelled "hook it" during the parachute scene (I'd given up completely by then.). To summarize it, the movie was a 3 hour blur of special effects and cliche's within cliche's."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
Scoop 0 #40 June 8, 2007 Bit late as we get films later over here than you guys but it sucked. The action sequences weren't even very good. The only good thing about it was the funny one liners... sadly
