upndownshop 0 #7 June 7, 2007 Quotewhats SCR? Its a 40 year skydiving tradition. Bill Newell who started in memory of Bob Boqure was on the first 8 way ever built. go here http://www.scr-awards.com/ The SCR itself is nationwide, but Texas, Ok, and CA are the ones who have really kept it alive over the years. oh yes and the SkyFest boogie. The ceremony was actually started by a man named Curly Roe in Texas many years ago. Its a great read, good history and a great thing for the newbie. I am very proud to say that I have organized 106 successful SCR's Come to SF we will get you one!! J
