VanillaSkyGirl 6 #1 June 6, 2007 There is a party at SD Elsinore on the 16th. It's for Daniella's (adorable office girl) 21st birthday party. I'm competing in the Poker Run, earlier that day, and my 36th b-day is a few days later, so I'll be there. The theme is "Vegas." I was thinking of dressing up as a Vegas Elvis. Please help me choose a costume, if you find one, or post another choice. Thanks!

VanillaSkyGirl 6 #3 June 6, 2007 Thanks, Max! I will not have the time to make anything, or too sleep much before then. (Today is the only somewhat "free" day that I will have, until that weekend.) I will tailor/take in any costume to fit me. I was a size 00P or 0P at Ann Taylor loft last weekend, so I think that the male costumes will be too big for my petite buns. Karen, that is one of the costumes that I was considering buying, and yes, I'll alter it to fit me. Thank you! Keely, why don't you come play with us? You live somewhat close, right? You don't even need a costume, if you don't want to wear one. Let me know, if you plan to come by.

Mel asked some of us right after we finished last year's comp, so I knew since last year that I was on her team for this year. I just waited to be emailed with the other people's names. aprilcat 0 #20 June 7, 2007 I think you should be a Showgirl instead of Elvis for a few reasons: 1) You'd make a beautiful showgirl. 2) There will be a LOT of Elvi there. 3) You can get anything and make a headpiece from it..the bigger the better. 4) You can wear those shoes you didn't know WHERE to wear to this 5) You know you have a SHOWGIRL outfit hidden somewhere (don't we all??) ~~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo! BillyVance 34 #25 June 7, 2007 Why not talk to some of the Flying Elvises? They might have a jumpsuit that you can borrow, although it might need a helluva lot of safety pins to get it to fit you.
