maxdog 0 #2 August 24, 2006 When I was there they were very busy, jumping all day and in the bar all night , but they will reply. You could try the forum on their website, a lot of their ex-students use it and they may know. If this is your first rig you may wish to consider used kit as you’ll probably want to downsize from your large student canopy in a few hundred jumps, and this could you quite a bit of cash that you’ll need for your training. But speak with your instructor first.PH36 Canopy Formation Team. www.skydive99.com www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/PH36-Canopy-Formati
riggerrob 643 #3 August 24, 2006 Also ask a local rigger to thoroughly inspect the rig before any money changes hands. Usually the rigger will find some wear point and you can often talk the seller into reducing the sale price to match the cost of repairs.
Stumpy 284 #4 August 25, 2006 From their site, i think they have a deal going with Aerodyne for a pilot/smart/icon package. Could that be what you are talking about?Never try to eat more than you can lift
Joellercoaster 6 #5 August 25, 2006 The FFA "sponsored student" rigs are brand new Aerodyne kit; there won't be quite the same need for rigger instpection (at least not if you're hoping to talk them down on price due to wear -- "I'll tell you how all skydivers are judged, . They are judged by the laws of physics." - kkeenan "You jump out, pull the string and either live or die. What's there to be good at?
mikew02 0 #6 August 29, 2006 Hi there, You have to be an ex student of the FFA to be considered for a sponsored rig. Looking at your post history and profile you dont seem to have done an AFF course yet??
