My choice is Newcastle Brown Ale. However, there are a few other good beers worthy.

Does anyone still remember the No Cheap Beer (NCB) list? I am still a member of the venerable list that Wendy Faulkner started, but damned if I can find it. Wendy????

I would never expect Humans to actually consume some of the piss water that some people try to pass off as beer. (ie.. Milwalkees best, Bush or Bud light)

Funny, but at Kapowsin, Busch Light is Andy Farrington's favorite beer, so when I owe him a case, that's what I get. When I buy beer, I like to bring out a couple of half racks of Henry Weinhardt's. They have a lot of good varieties, and are popular with most peeps. I have a huge range of beers I like, from old school Coors (a better pilsner than most people think) to the darkest roasted stouts to be found. My favorite beer is my next one.B|

Anyone showing up with Milwaukee’s Best or other such swill at the DZ should have the case of rotten piss poured on them

Why do you think I went and got Beast for the "pour"? :D

Okay, here's the unbiased view from Consumer Resports this month on "lite" beer. This only includes the beers that they tested (there are others out there that probably should have been in the test, but they just picked these from the beers that had done well in past tests plus a few newcomers). Canned beer protects the taste of beer better than bottles...who knew?

In the VERY GOOD category (moderately complex flavor, most with floral fruity, and boiled-hops notes; lower-rated beers were less intense or had off-notes):
1. Michelob Ultra Amber - brown bottle $5.74
2. Michelob Light - brown bottle $5.71
3. Michelob Ultra - brown bottle $5.76
4. Coors Light - can $5.36
5. Sam Adams Light - brown bottle $7.38
6. Budweiser Select - brown bottle $5.28
7. Busch Light - can $3.87 *A BEST BUY*
8. Bud Light - can $5.33
9. Natural Light - can $3.54 *A BEST BUY*
10. Keystone Light - can $3.75 *A BEST BUY*
11. Miller Lite - can $5.19

In the GOOD category (less balance and complexity; more defects):
12. Miller High Life Light - can $3.06
13. Milwaukee's Best Light - can $3.08
14. Yuengling Light - brown bottle $5.53
15. Stroh's Light - can $3.00
16. Labatt Blue Light - brown bottle $5.49
17. Heineken Premium Light - green bottle $7.71
18. Amstel Light - brown bottle $7.80
19. Corona Light - clear bottle $7.74

In the FAIR category (skunky and oxidized):
20. Beck's Premier Light - green bottle $7.24

Quick Picks
Lager-style light beers:
Michelob Ultra Amber $5.74
Sam Adams Light $7.38

Domestic lager-style light beers:
Michelob Light $5.71
Michelob Ultra $5.76
Coors Light $5.36
Budweiser Select $5.28

Best combination of taste and price:
Busch Light $3.87
Natural Light $3.54
Keystone Light $3.75

Skydive Carolina... "Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day." :D:D:D

Well... the skies may have been cloudy, but the atmosphere wasn't. Everyone was so welcoming. I felt right at home immediately. :)
It turns out that Red Stripe was the favorite beer of the general manager, and Corona was already in abundance. I left before dark on Friday to go back to my hotel. Some of my beer was still there when I left, but it seemed to disappear overnight. ;) I never heard any complaints.

I suppose cold and free are almost always a good combination. I shouldn't have worried. :)

What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy
ones? -- Monday.
