Melliandra 0 #240 May 30, 2007 Speedracer, just a point, I started looking at towns that had relations to pines before the hints started appearing on the forums. I figured it had to be America since his clues are designed for American keyboards etc. I have no idea why it fits with the letters, but I did find it myself and it took rather a long time, but shorter than it would have taken me to work out the letters I'll wager. Sorry, had to rant, felt like I was being told off... It's been a long day
SpeedRacer 1 #241 May 30, 2007 thanks for posting that! good to hear. I was just wondering where it all was coming from. in case you're wondering, here is what that string of letters & arrows were: WARNING, SPOILER FOR QUESTION 28: The letters stand for the initials of the South American Countries and their corresponding capitols. They start in the north & head south. The missing letters spell out the answer Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
SpeedRacer 1 #242 May 30, 2007 Quoteany ideas? 43 looks like dance steps to me. I typed in waltz, lindyhop, foxtrot, etc. but nothing worked. anyone know about dance steps? Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

SpeedRacer 1 #244 May 31, 2007 yep. shit I ran all the way home because I was SURE that number 43 was Etch-a-sketch. think about it: knob one makes you go horizontal, knob two vertical. It would have been the perfect clue for etcha sketch. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

SpeedRacer 1 #247 May 31, 2007 yes I did see them. And even with those extra hints, it STILL could have been EtchaSketch! (the knobs are circles) Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
PikzeeVikzen 0 #248 May 31, 2007 think more across the pacific is the latest hint. My first thought was go. I'm the twist that turns your key....
SpeedRacer 1 #249 May 31, 2007 I had tried go, and all the other synonyms of it (from different countries) a long time ago. also tried pente and othello and reversi and connect4. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
SpeedRacer 1 #250 May 31, 2007 ok, I got it. He says in one clue that it's easier than you think. not really. the answer is something obscure for most people, since most people haven't heard of it. You'll have to google it if you're like me. It has to do with the subject of the web forum that PikzeeVikzen posted. spoiler: Japanese game involving islands one criticism about this game is you have to know all about the particular things the author is personally interested in.
