You will figure out what works best for you guys. I had it easy for the first few months because I breastfed my little man. He sometimes wouldn't quite wake up to eat. I didn't have to completely wake up either. When he was 3 months old I had to have surgery and start feeding him formula. He slept through the night from that point on!! We were really lucky.
