rigger_john 0 #4 August 31, 2006 Given that you are 54 lbs above pd recommended max for expert on your reserve, and .6 psf above the placarded max for your main, I'm wondering if this is just a troll?_________________________________________ Nullius in Verba

Thanks for the info .......as for my reserve i still have another 10kg of burgers i can eat before i reach maximum limit (pd 126 Max W= 115kg) which i have tried out all ready (twists in main) as for the main slightly over the limits, and as i said have already jumped it a few times and the landing was better than alot of jumps on different 150's....... my question go's back to....... was i just very lucky?? Or for my jump no's suitable i feel confident on the main and have waited untill now before downsizing the other instructors have said that i handle it well but it is always nice to hear the other side of the coin.... That's the "It's probably going to blow up if I have a terminal ride" limit (TSO), not the "I'm an idiot if I exceed this" limit (Max Exit weight), which I believe is the actual legal limit (here at least). Death and injuries are less likely if you discover this during the move from 1.5 to 1.7 pounds/square foot or 1.7 to 1.9 instead of 1.5 to 1.9. Try a few hundred jumps on a 135 first. skydiveal 0 #8 September 3, 2006 if you want "safe" don't jump out of an aeroplane in flight, and most certainly don't use a 120 stiletto.my hovercraft is full of eels.
