Gawain 0 #1 May 21, 2007 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070520/ap_on_re_us/cicada_invasion I didn't know the cycle for these insects was so long, but apparently this summer is going to be a big one for the Cicada. I like this quote: QuoteThey don't harm humans, although they are clumsy and might fly into people. Birds, squirrels and pets, especially dogs, love to eat them, and they are high in protein. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! bobsled92 0 #2 May 21, 2007 They state: 17 years but, I seem to move or have large commutes that find that area's "17th year" all the time. At least while going to a "Breakfast Ride/Poker Run" They guy way ahead of me discovered the swarm across the freeway. It was a good thing that I still wear full face when hitting the hiway for 40+mile events. (the other guy had no more than sunglasses on.)_______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/
