a cell broke cut half

Hi all
One of my friends had a weird malfunction; one the canopy opened he started to hear a deferent sound, when he landed (it was a PD navigator 260)
He found out that one of the cells was cut in the middle from the nose to the close to the tail, we don’t know what made this happen,
can it be a line over?
Do you think our local rigger can fix it? 3 feet long ?

Hi,
It can be repaired and if I'm not wrong, PD says that for this size of damage it must be repaired by them.

In the old days I'd just say use masking tape, but now, I'd say PD.

Hi Husam,

How's things at Thumama?

I had a similar malfunction a few years back - and simply sent the canopy to PD for repair. They did a good job.
