funkcanna 0 #73 May 16, 2007 Im in the UAE and it costs me about 75AED to fill a 70 litre tank. This is about £10 UK - to fill the full tank!!! Very cheap, especially when I have been used to a £ a litre!!To know requires proof To believe requires evidence To have faith requires neither. WGore 0 #74 May 16, 2007 I don't like paying the higher prices any more than anyone else but you can get it. In the gas crunch of the 70s it wasn't available sometimes and for over a year our DZ limited altitude to 6500 ft because avgas was so hard to get. It wasn't availabe to our DZ and we chained a 1000gal tank on an old farm truck and drove 400+ miles round trip to get it. Probably illegal as hell but it kept us in the air. Upside was the RW folks got pretty quick.GUNFIRE, The sound of Freedom!
