I was absolutely petrified when I finally got on the plane (5 hours after I got to the DZ ) that I nearly backed out. Thankfully I didn't. I de-arched on the exit but had it fixed within a few seconds. I followed my instructors hand signals beautifully. I was amazed that I remembered to even look at them. The best part was the perfect landing and the applause afterward. I did manage to rip my pants when I gathered up the parachute to carry it back in. Oh well.
