I know some good sushi places - Oiishi Sushi, Mykado's

Even a really good Vietnamese place - Mai's in mid-town.

Thai, I normally just hit up Thai Spice, not sure if it's "good" but it's good for me. Plus they've got a buffet on Fondren & Westheimer.

Thai Cottage! Don't let the outside fool you. I think there are 3 of them in H-town. One in Webster, one over at Sugarland, not sure of last one.

Just remember that sweet and sour gritz is not authentic asian food, nor is a biscuit with a handwritten note shoved inside a descent substitute for a fortune cookie.

Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
