LOL ... seriously, I sorta got out of skydiving as my responsibilities as a single mommy have taken over my life (for now anyway). I haven't meant to drift away from the forums, but it happens I guess. Anyway ... I'm with mamajumps on this one ... he's just creepy! I have known him for a little over a year and he kept pushing me to date him. I kept giving him all sorts of reasons why I couldn't: distance, age difference, anything I could think of to get rid of him. I never told him how creepy he seemed and how unsettled he made me feel, but inside something was telling me to STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. And I'm soooo glad I did! He even went so far once as to purchase airline tickets for me to go visit him and DIDN'T TELL ME HE HAD DONE SO. He just emailed me the e-tickets with a note that said, "Have a vacation on me." I was like I DON'T THINK SO. That was the last straw with me. I told him to get lost, and I did the whole email address blocking, etc., to keep him from contacting me. When we would talk when I first met him (before I told him to get lost) he told me his life story and I totally agree, I thought one day he is gonna snap and hurt or kill someone. He is extremely unstable. He tried way too hard to fit in and forced his way into people's lives. I almost felt as though he were stalking me for a while. He also tried to force a presence in my 4-year-old son's life ... and I don't allow guys to get in the picture with my son unless we are JUST FRIENDS or there is a serious relationship. I don't let him meet guys I talk to or go out with once or twice ... much less someone who is trying to force their way in. All that said, I am saddened but not surprised that this happened. I knew in my heart that he was unstable, creepy and potentially harmful to someone. Randy, I don't know you but I'm sending wishes your way for a quick recovery! I hope John sits in jail for a long time to think about what he has done, and hopefully get the help he so desperately needs. He is a sick, sick man.
