Just curious..

Depends on the circumstance ... can you give more details??

This person is a negative, annoying, stalker and seems to always be there at every turn. If I say the sky is blue, they say it's purple just to be an adversary:S

Ignore them. It's wasted energy on your part. Some people won't, and never want to, change. If they get a reaction from you, even if it's a negative reaction, they feel they've won and won't let up.

Don't waste your time on them. Negative is bad. Focus on the positive.

And remember I love you. :)
Yes, like a pig loves corn ... ;)

Unless it becomes a safety issue, just ignore the idiot (yes I know, easier said than done).
My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

I voted 'tell them to get OFF me'..but thats only for a nemesis..you didn't ask what to do with an ARCH nemesis...thats where it gets serious and you must don your secret identity and take care of tha biz...

...so what IS your secret power? You gonna 'web' somebody? look thru their file cabinets and find/read their diary and destroy them? lasso them in an invisible rope and make them tell the truth? go back in time and wipe them out? If they bother you that much, really, just tell them to lay off then be done with it. :)
... before you ask, my secret power is a big 'ol can of Bitch-B-Gone. I'll send you some ~~April

I tried to ignore the person because I agree to not give satisfaction for the negative behavior...yet they continue the behavior and follow me around.

You've spent time around toddlers, right? They're going to keep trying to get attention through negative behavior. They'll still try, but even toddlers end up trying a lot less when they realize no one bothers with them when they do. Every so often they'll still test the waters to see if they can get a reaction out of you, but if they don't, they'll move on again for a while.

At least toddlers grow out of it.:|

What she said. If they're acting like a baby, treat them like a baby. Ignore the negative behaviour. I do that with my dog and it seems to work with him. Then again, he's smarter than your average person.

Depending on circumstances....but I am not one to be crossed...I can play the evil bitch too, although it is a rarity to be seen. You have to really either put me on edge or seriously offend me to get me to that point, but once you do........>:(>:(>:(

I agree with many that you aren't giving enough information.
Dictionary.com defenition of nemesis is -
1. something that a person cannot conquer, achieve, etc.: The performance test proved to be my nemesis.
2. an opponent or rival whom a person cannot best or overcome.
3. (initial capital letter) Classical Mythology. the goddess of divine retribution.
4. an agent or act of retribution or punishment.

Sounds more like you have an annoying pest or someone with whom you might not see eye to eye.
Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours.

Post #7 elaborates my point. It's not that I don't see eye to eye with this person..they seem to be the one who likes to be the bully type. I avoid this person at all times yet they seek me out for some strange reason.

From what I've read, I believe it's an annoying pest. People are able to not see eye to eye with but still maintain a connection and not consider them annoying. Pests are pests.

But that's just what I read into it. Your mileage may vary ...
