karenmeal 0 #26 April 26, 2007 Congratulations! I know how good it feels to get back to jumping. I have to admit though.. I am jealous of your recovery! I can't believe you're already all healed! My knee is still fairly fucked from surgery 7+ months ago. "Life is a temporary victory over the causes which induce death." - Sylvester Graham
monkycndo 0 #27 April 26, 2007 Healed well enough to jump. My jobsite requires lots of stair climbing and walking over uneven surfaces which has made the leg get strong pretty quick. My physio gave me an aggressive rehab program that worked wonders. But the ROM still needs work and the muscles going over the plate get REALLY sore since my work boots rub against it. But I'm not asking for any cheese to go with this whine. Hope the knee starts to feel better. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. karenmeal 0 #29 April 26, 2007 OOhh.. that thing with the plates sounds uncomfortable. Are you keeping the metal in, or do you have another operation to look forward to? monkycndo 0 #30 April 26, 2007 The ortho prefers to keep it in. But if it is still sore after the bone fully heals(6-8 more months), then I can get it removed. It just means another surgery and 2 months of light duty(no jumping) while the holes left from where the screws were removed heal. Only time will tell.50 donations so far. Give it a try. I think what you need is a massage on both legs from a skilled osteopath-----that will make you feel much better.
