gonzalesna 0 #2 April 25, 2007 You can do almost any job in all 4 branches. (I don't count the coast guard) Talk to em all and they'll all tell you pretty much the same thing. Don't just stop at one branch... ask around. Talk to some of the local vets. (I mean veterans, not veterinarians) They'll be able to tell you about their experiences and may help you decide what branch you desire to become a part of. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie. gonzalesna 0 #4 April 25, 2007 When I say vets, I mean more of the older generations... they can tell you about a lot that the young vets just coming back or just getting out can't tell you. Check out the American Legion or Elks Lodge in your area... They're probably crawling with vets. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
Beerlight 0 #5 April 25, 2007 In my 22 yrs in the AF I crossed paths with a few PJ's. Never did I meet one that didn't enjoy his life. You could travel down to Lackland in San Antonio (a recruiter possibly could help you here) and check out their school for yourself..... plus, the AF has the best food!check this out: Blues Bob.... http://www.pararescue.com/content/pdf/Bob_Holler_Collection.pdf
