Tattoos on the ladies' asses ...

Recommended Posts

I have three tattoos. The first two I got when I was 30. I had been thinking about it for a long time and decided on something special for me. There was a tattoo parlor near my children's Catholic school so I went while they were in class. I only regret one of my tattoos and might have it removed someday.

My daughter just turned 18 and for a long time said she wanted a small one. I have a butterfly on my lower back and she wanted something similar. I refused to allow, pay for, etc. before she was 18 but told her once she was 18 it was her choice. I told her all of the cons but if she still wanted one on her birthday I would go with her and pay for it.
She had what she wanted and I took her. Once we got there she decided not to because she wasn't that sure once it was time to do it. She will wait till she's good and ready and she may never be ready. I trust and support she knows what is best for her in regards to this issue. She still talks about getting one and I'll go with her again when she's ready. Funny thing is her friend whose parents are extremely strict and wouldn't even discuss it with her went out and got one on her breast. She has to hide it from them. :|

Like I said before, Grue has his own opinion. And I respect that, he should! All I'm saying is be careful with how you word things. He did mention "women with tattoos" so with that, it included me. I'm not ashame of the tats I have and love them till this day. Can I tell you in 10 years I will think the same thing, no. But at least it will remind me of the important reasons why I put them there in the first place.
I will be the first to admit I over reacted to my first reply, and for that I am sorry. But I still stand by what I'm saying. Be careful with how things are worded, thats all.
Now lets quit beating this into the ground. :P

No apologies necessary, just trying to defuse the situ. & certainly not picking on you or trying to beat it into the ground. I very often read your posts & know this is not your style... certainly did not mean to offend you & I do understand your position on it as well! Sorry if my original response came across the wrong way!;):)Edited to add: VERY COOL TATS, BTW !!;);):)

Impulsive? Attention seeking? nah.

I got my first (and as of now, only) tattoo about a year ago. I had wanted one for years. I got it on my foot because I got it for me, and I wanted to be able to see it easily. For me there's no point in tatts on parts of my body I can't see.

As for the argument about how they'll look in our old age. Who cares? I deal with elderly people every day. Tattoos or no, no one's skin remains unblemished, firm, and unwrinkled. Gravity will have its way, regardless. I'd rather experience life now to the fullest extent than worry about trying to preserve my looks for when I'm in the nursing home.

Here is a pic of my tats. As you can see they are in a place where I can conceal them if I choose to.

It is Japanese, and it has two meanings. One is Extreme Living. The second is Live for the moment.

You see, there are several different meaning when it comes to Japanese language. If you are wanting to put something of that nature on you body, please look into it first. Just by the placement of them can change the entire meaning.

I only have so many pics I can post for you horny ass guys. How about sharing some love. :S;)

Most of my tats are on here somewhere. As is my ass, and many other pictures. What you want me (a guy) to post pics in a thread titled "Tattoos on the ladies's asses..."?
methinks not. :P

Oh, and I share "the love" every time I get a chance!

ladyflyer had a pic attachment on one of her posts in here awhile back of her tattoos... I don't know how to attach it again, sorry!

I just always find it weird that people decide to tattoo a different language on their bodies... seems weird if you can't read it.... are you sure yours doesn't say "toe nail" or something else? ;)

Jules,

I wouldn't put something on my body not knowing what it means.:S

Also, its not about if you get the meaning or not. Its about what it means to me. As you had seen, I had 3 and they all have meanings of my life in them. If someone (like yourself) are interested to know the meaning then i don't mind telling them. But I choose to use this form of art for myself, not to impress others.

I agree about the language thing. I also think that it's tacky to see names tattooed on someone's body. But if the tatt owner is happy, who the hell cares what I think about it? ;)

I have my first of three 3 hour tattoo sessions scheduled for next Tues. I'm getting an upper arm sleve, from just above my elbow to my shoulder. I'm sure a lot of people won't like a chick with that much ink. Frankly, I don't give a damn.B|

Chicks with ink are cool. Skychicks with ink are even cooler! But Im sure that's not gonna affect your decisions anyway. ;)

Lord knows I didnt have anyone else in mind when I was getting any of my work done! B|

[QUOTE: I also think that it's tacky to see names tattooed on someone's body.]

Funny story to go with that..........

I had been wanting a tattoo for YEARS and one Saturday morning I woke up and decided "Today is the day!!!" I had an idea of what I wanted, just not how to create it (I am so NOT creative).

There's a saying my Grandfather would say to me...... "It's JUST ABOUT YOU, baby girl, just you" or when I would ask him why an "old guy" like himself would do _(fill in the blank)__, he would say..... "It's JUST ABOUT YOUTH, baby girl, I'm still young"

Soooooo, when the tattoo artist designed my tat, the above phrase was to read "J-A-Y" above my childrens names, however he left out the dashes and now it appears that I have the name "JAY" on my ass. :$
Not much I could do about it once it was done and there simply isn't enough room to add the dashes now, but, 7 years later, I get the biggest chuckle out of it and it makes Thantos340 feel like a stud to ride my ass daily! :P;)
Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."

Lady ~

I understand what you mean... and you're right, your tattoo is yours, and is unique to you and you alone. The only reason why I commented on the language thing, is because I remember hearing a long time ago that (I think it was) Britney Spears had an Asian symbol tattooed on her that she thought meant something, but then it turned out to mean something completely different. I'm an art major so I understand the beauty of caligraphy (in any language) and obviously I'm not trying to compare you to Britney Spears... I'm sure you researched your tattoo before getting inked... but I still find it very interesting.... that the design of letters or words is so popular right now... I wonder if people in China are as fascinated with English letter designs.... just a thought
