HALO1 0 #1 April 17, 2007 Probably belongs in General Skydiving, but thought I'd ask here... Are there any DZs in central Florida that operate tailgate aircraft during the week (Mon-Fri)? A couple of us are making the long journey from Hawaii to Florida the first week in May to jump (stopping by Skydive the Farm for 2-days beforehand to see what all the talk is about). I believe Deland has a Skyvan, but not sure if it runs during the week. Can anyone shed some light? Don't be sexist… Broads hate that.
skymama 37 #2 April 17, 2007 It's all going to depend on how many people are at the dz. I jumped out of it last Saturday, but I'm not sure about during the week. If the Norgies are still there at that time, you'll have a better chance, for sure. I'm not sure when they're leaving though. Basically, I'm no help at all, huh? She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PhreeZone 20 #3 April 17, 2007 Only tailgates in the state are the Deland Skyvan and a Casa if Lake Wales happens to have one that weekend. Sebastion has Crosskey's Skyvan sometimes but I'm pretty sure its back up north already for the summer.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

We'll be there Monday through Friday only (weekend prior we'll be at the Farm)... some tunnel and Scott Miller's course will round out the trip. Don't be sexist… Broads hate that.
