pinkfairy 0 #4 April 17, 2007 Advantages and disadvantages. going on bike might make you sweaty, on the other hand it shows initiative and sportyness, important free points in most job interviews. I'd go that distance on bike myself, I like it, because it's fast and no fuss.Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! BillyVance 34 #6 April 17, 2007 Drive, and give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes. You want to be sure you get there on time. grue 1 #7 April 17, 2007 Quotewhat is the temp? will you be sweating, if not bike it, better for the earth.. Today's high is 23°C, or about 73°F. Probably not enough to make me sweat more than a little on the forehead unless there are a lot of hills.cavete terrae.
pinkfairy 0 #8 April 17, 2007 Do wear a helmet. A helmet is the difference between a slight concussion and nothing at all if you're knocked over by a car. I'm psycho when it comes to being on time. I'm usually half an hour early to anything important, and I just hang out at the nearest cafe so they don't realize I'm that early cavete terrae. Zeppo 0 #10 April 17, 2007 Drive. You need to make the best impression possible, and by biking, you run the chances of messing things up. Messy hair due to wind, sweaty (as others have mentioned). Take no chances...drive it. When you get the job...then bike it What goes up, must come DOWN!!!
rehmwa 2 #11 April 17, 2007 depends - 1 - how 'professional' is the job? is it suit and tie, or fast food? 2 - are they impressed by you riding? 3 - is the job at a bike shop? health club? 4 - etc you figure it out, don't be late, don't look like a slob as a result unless that's beneficial to getting hired.... ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants
gonzalesna 0 #12 April 17, 2007 Quote I can't decide. Ride a bike, wear a good helmet and if you see a parked cop car, "accidentally" fall into the car and bust the window. If and when they come and talk to you, just say, "Sorry, but I guess it was a good thing I was wearing my helmet." Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

MrBrant 0 #14 April 17, 2007 Depending on the job - I suggest driving. Some places might want to see that you have access to reliable transportation.

It's when it's hot and I'm barely moving that I'll start to sweat. I'm gonna drive it, just because I wanna take a nap before I go cavete terrae.
