thinwheats 0 #1 October 6, 2006 hey I was just wondering if anybody can vouch for a 2 pin Astra AAD...I've been jumping Cypress 2 and I just want some information on the Astra from jumpers and riggers, rather than just their site...thanks, thinwheats

FXC should have been able to do so much better. At the time I was buying ('02), I really wanted to convince myself that it was a viable alternative - but it was not to be.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
mark 107 #4 October 6, 2006 Quote2 pin Astra AAD Do they make a 2-pin model? It's not in the Para-Gear catalog and I can't find a reference after my (admittedly cursory) check of the FXC website. Mark
teason 0 #5 October 7, 2006 There is only one i existence AFAIK. This AAD was made for Jumpshack in the early days of the unit, origionally a tandem model but it has been changed to a standard. 2pins were never really produced. The way the AAD was designed, the cost of a 2pin was double the cost of a 1pin. The unit was not cost effective and there for never actually manufactured. The 2pin in question is just as reliable as the 1pin Astra (say what you will). Tell Cory I said Hi. TimI would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
