Shell666 0 #76 October 27, 2006 QuoteIndeed....but as you well know its a long long long reg. season then the real season starts. Yes, it is a long season ... and a long playoff run (not that your team would know that from last year ). QuoteHowever the "New NHL" really fucked up my AVS! Ahhh ... level playing field hurts, huh ... Not able to buy good players means you gotta make 'em yourself! Guess we'll see what happens. Shell666 0 #77 October 27, 2006 QuoteQuoteHowever the "New NHL" really fucked up my AVS! As a former Colorado Avalanche season ticket holder, the current team and the team I used to go watch do not resemble each other at all (except for the uniforms). It will be interesting to see how the Denver fans react now that their team isn't as good as it used to be. If they are like Broncos fans, then the Avs will be fine even in tough times. But if they only support a winning team, well then the Avs will be in trouble. Time will tell... The Oilers went through rebuilding too a few years back. Almost lost them completely. Luckily the city, and some local business men stepped up to the plate to keep them here. Time will tell. QuoteGo Habs ... GO HABS??? Are you in cahoots with Remi??? He's not a mod anymore. You can stop the brown-nosing now ... QuotePS: I understand the front range is getting some snow today. The media is painting it as a massive blizzard, but when they show pictures I see snow on the sides of the roads, but the major roads appear clear of the white stuff. Is the storm not all that bad, or am I just not seeing the whole story? Got some pics at work from Feisty in CO today ... she said in some places in her back yard the snow drifts are about 4' deep. Pics look like they're getting pounded. 'Shell'Shell
wildfan75 1 #78 October 27, 2006 Avs can kiss my a$$. The Ducks are headed were they should be..the grill with a side of broccoli. And don't even get me started on the Red Wings. The Wild is were it's at. Lemaire's plan is coming together this year and yes, it will be Stanley-licious! We're going to "Skoula" everyone!!!

Go Habs ... and yes I still kind of sort of still cheer for the Avs even though I feel very distanced from the team since the lockout year (my last year was the one before the lock out) and of course not living in CO also makes it hard to stay connected to the team. PS: I understand the front range is getting some snow today. The AVS are very young this year and they will take some time to gell but without a ROY type netminder they will prolly not be there at the end. As for the snow: At 4:00am this morning there was nothing on the ground by 7 there was at least 4" on the ground and on the street but it is still fairly warm so it melted pretty fast on the streets today. GO AVS~~~>
murrays 0 #81 October 27, 2006 The Sabres are 10-0!! This ties the best start ever in the NHL. They were _so_ close last year..if their defence hadn't suffered so many injuries they might have knocked off the Hurricanes...and then smoked some 'Oil'. redwings 0 #87 October 27, 2006 Could be 'Hawks and Rangers in the finals. I admit, Wings are NOT PLAYING at all. You'd think getting younger players would solve the choke but noooo. The season's still young. And I have hopes. Why don't you just go to the police station in a red clown suit and let everybody know what we're doing here? I have a phobia for moobs. Thanks, youknowwhoyouare.

wildfan75 1 #89 October 27, 2006 First--my ass is damn cute...well, more like damn hot. Second--Enjoy that attendance record because the Wild will beat it. No doubt. There's still a waiting list for season ticket holders! A long list at that! I can't believe that no one believes the Wild will be there in the finals. Umm, Manny is in the top for all four goalie stats and leads two, lowest GAA and best save %. Plus we've got one player in the top five for +/- and one in the top three for goals. We've dropped one game, to the Ducks--which will get their's tonight, handed to them actually, and then the poor Avs face the force on Sunday. God I love hockey! People here are pissed about the salary cap because our ownership has always done thier best to put a winning team on the ice now thier hands are tied.
