what is the definition of a hole? (now think of say a hole you can see through, like in a piece of paper; and then digging a hole which has a bottom to it. they are very different things)

anyway, my friends couldnt give me an answer and i still havent looked up the definition in the dictionary. any takers?

I don't get it.

I was being ambiguous, as usual. Gutless is a song by the band Hole and also describes a hole. Holes are hollow cavities. They have no "guts".
