In Shanghai, the Maglev train goes over 400km in service. The "friction free" feeling is quite nice as well. For the time being, though, its itinerary is quite useless (form the airport to a suburb of Shanghai), but they are currently building an extension to the line which will be very usefull (to the Shanghai train station, then to the other airport, then to a city south of Shanghai). Great technology (siemens originally). "For once you have tasted Absinthe you will walk the earth with your eyes turned towards the gutter, for there you have been and there you will long to return."
