Been feeling scared about jumping lately for no reason so did one 'getting back into it' jump where I just lay flat the entire jump and looked at scenery
1 x attempted sitfly
1 x 5 way that actually worked for once
1 x 4 way semi-funnel (forgot what to do halfway through )
1 x passenger on a tandem re-val (sweetest opening EVER)

The girlfriend part i wish was true, lol. The weather was iffy and there were no tandems for me this weekend.

got in 8 great jumps.

We got the record for largest formation built out of the Pac at raeford now - 12!! and we have pics.

Its tough to get out that door after the base leaves when you're sitting up by the pilot - hop over the wing spar, dodge the benches, then thread the needle while the plane is doing it's dance

It was a bit gusty on saturday afternoon, so my jumping got a little slow... but I got in 6 jumps between 2 dropzones this weekend. :beer: for my first time jumping at spaceland.

One beautiful 11-way memorial skydive for Dave Sebesta in which I jumped his main and dumped out of the center of the formation to open the "missing man" slot. It was my first memorial skydive and hopefully last--with the possible exception of being on his ash dive.

Loads of appreciation for DZO Mark Pollack and the entire staff of Skydive Temple (Dave's home DZ).
One solo--opened high and enjoyed the ride.

I completed my coach course this weekend. It was slow, long and a lot of information but I still had a good time. All I can say now is, those poor students.

If I stand on my tip toes, I can see the weekend from here!

30 very productive minutes in the Perris tunnel, coached by the incomparable John "Hammo" Hamilton. Breaking bad habits is fucking HARD, though. 7 very fun jumps at Elsinore ... nice to be back in some nice warm weather. Got to meet a few new DZ.commers and catch up with lots of old friends, too.

I went out to Davis on Saturday and did 7 RW jumps from a 4-way to an 18-way formation load I went low on.

I went to Byron on Sunday and did some freeflying, a hop & pop from 14k on a demo PD Reserve 160 as a main, and a 5-way RW.

12 triple diamond we built out of the PAC this weekend.

Quite a feat considering in second pic there are still three of us left in the plane!!!
