So how does one go about getting to know the people on your myspace page? Sounds stupid I know... I have 58 "friends" the large majority are skydivers, and I talk to about 5 of those 58 on a steady basis. How does one go about getting to know the people on your page, we obviously have something in common, but where does it go from there? Hi my name is ..... I jump from planes and like to color with purple crayons?:S...sounds crazy I know... I've always been very shy in person so this has carried over to not knowing how to get to know someone....:|

on a serious note though...ive had myspace since before anyone knew what it was. I went through the friend shore stage...to the point that i had over like 400,000 friends. It took me 3-4 weeks to delete them all. Im at 11 and i think i dont know maybe 10 of them in reality. All you ahve to do is find someone with common interests and jsut spark up a conversation! Its simple B|

I love myspace, keeps me in contact with all the wonderful people I have met throughout the years! Also, it is a good place to network...as far as skydiving, find your local clubs on it, or dz's. For example, http://www.myspace.com/austinparachuteclub
you could also join groups with similar people. Just search groups page for skydiving if that is what you are looking for. There are alot on there.

Dont bother. 99% of them are not worth knowing.
Close your myspace account, and dont look back. :)

i have around 52 or so "friends". I personally know 50 of them. Many of them are scattered throughout North America, and some overseas. It an easy way to share whats going on in my life with them. I dont care about all the other BS that goes on there. Ive refused more "friend requests" than I care to count. If I know you and want to keep up with whats going on in your world, I'll add ya. If not, so sorry.

Myspace is what you make it: a place for sniffling, hormone raging teenagers, or a way to keep up with your friend in Tailand, and New Zeland, and they you.
