pfloyd 0 #1 March 17, 2007 So i like Patron's Silver & Anejo, and Cabo Wabo Reposado and I know those are a bit pricy, but I have seen even more expensive brands. I havent tried that many brands of tequila but so far Patron and Cabo Wabo are my favorites. I like the 100% De Agave brands. Can any tequila connisiours help point me into the direction of anything better? Maybe we should throw a potluck tequila party and just try them all one day. I dont think I would be jumping the day tho! My drinking team has a skydiving problem

Peej 0 #12 March 19, 2007 How much does a shot of Patron cost on an average bar? You can only get it in rather fancy places here in South Africa and it works out to about $10 a shot. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
elizfowler 0 #13 March 19, 2007 Patron Anejo or Reposado are nice choices to which you might add some others for your tasting and sampling pleasure. Don Julio - Anejo or Reposado Casta Weber Azul - Anejo El Charro - Anejo or Reposado Corazon - Anejo or Resposado Sol Dios - Anejo La Cofridas - Reposado Herradura - Anejo or Reposado Many great possibilities, I have had the pleasure of learning about and tasting after a dear friend owned a restaraunt featuring them and getting some to try from a friend near Encinada (great prices). Many of these can be found a bit pricey and there are some particularly good sites that describe them in detail --there are a few good bargains to be found if you look online for a while. Have fun with this, it's a yummy adventure!

TheAnvil 0 #16 March 19, 2007 Hmm...that would depend upon my mood I would think.... I like Herradura Reposado quite a bit...Patron is fantastic, though I prefer their Reposado to their Blanco...Don Julio has a superb anejo and Corazon makes an excellent one as well. So many tequilas...so little time... I could go for some right now! Dammit! Now I need some...it's been quite a long time...Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe I paid $6 for a shot of Patron @ a bar, which is why I just pay more up front and buy the bottle. Then shots are much cheaper by the shot, doesn't help that I drink like 10 shots when I have the bottle at home in the freezer My drinking team has a skydiving problem
