question on Monitor resolutions

Recommended Posts

get a LCD then you dont have to worry about the refresh rate,

I alway take higher refresh rate as possiable and stay away from 60hrz since thats the frequency cycle for north america power and if you have florecent lighting and some transformer type of ligghting you'll get a flicker that you might not realy notice but over time gives a lot of eye strain.
SO this one time at band camp.....

I'd also go for the 1280x960, given only those two options you gave.

I would also like to echo the sentiments of previous reply, if you get an LCD you won't have to worry about refresh rates, but you WILL have to worry about response time.

If you do go that route, the lower the millisecond response the better.
