porpoishead 8 #8 March 8, 2007 nice, also not a bad price for such a novelty. my parents had a round bed when I was kid, was'nt a water bed though, kind of a 70's thing complete with big-ass velvet headboard, it was pretty pimp. mine simmons beauty rest, custom calif. king w/ 6" memory foam, and a quilted pillow top. awesome bed one need only lay in it for a second and it's off to cloud 9. also the size of the playground makes it great for other thingsthe down $ide the mattress alone was around $1800, a set of deep pocket sheets was about $600 its 20"+ deep, you need a fukin crane and knock out some walls to get it to the master B/R, $$$$$$$$$$$ for all the other bullshit that goes with it that I just had to have. but what the hell I sleep and fuck great in that thing, like a superstar. to sum it all up I really and truly didi not have to have all that, i'm just the sap that had to pay for it...if you want a friend feed any animal Perry Farrell

Michele 1 #10 March 8, 2007 Sunnyone, somehow, that bed just doesn't fit with your demure demeanor. Me? I have a 4 poster queen size, elevated bed with overdeep mattress and box spring. That means that I, quite literally, don't have to get up when I wake - rather, I just swing my legs over the edge and I'm standing. I love it, and I've been in it for 7 years. It's perfectly sized for canoodling and snoozing, and unlike porpoise head above, I don't have to spend tons of money on sheets...even though the matress is overdeep, the sheets I get fit just fine. And if anyone is in my bed looking at how the sheets fit, then I'm doing something really wrong. So far, no comments. SeanSolo 0 #11 March 8, 2007 you can try this bed. it may cost a little much, but given that you sleep most of your life, you may be able to justify it... maybe...Cookie Firecrotch "Don't you know who I am!? I'm the Juggernaut Bitch!"
waltappel 1 #12 March 8, 2007 Looks ok, but personally, I'm kind of tired of waterbeds. I think having both a waterbed and a conventional bed would be nice. Walt
tigra 0 #13 March 9, 2007 I miss my water bed, and that one is pimping! But just to be practical, keep in mind that waterbeds are a pain in the ass to make, and water bed sheets aren't easy to find, so you're less likely to get the good ones on sale, and round water bed sheets will be even harder to find. I just bought a Simmons Beauty Rest- queen size- and it fits me, the SO and the cats comfortably. I'm sleeping better than I have since I "retired" my waterbed a few years back. The SO claimed it hurt his back, but it was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in! I think the new one is 2nd to my waterbed, but sometimes you need to compromise! karenmeal 0 #15 March 9, 2007 I used to have a waterbed. I actually really loved it.. except for when it burst! I remember the first time it happened, I woke up in the middle of the night in a pool of water and my first thought was, 'I can't believe I wet the bed.' Then I realized what happened and started pumping water out. Really really really crap way to spend the wee hours of the morning. sartre 0 #16 March 9, 2007 I went shopping yesterday for a new bedroom set. I have a gorgeous king size 4 poster bed right now, but my new master bedroom is going to be 1/2 the size of my current master bedroom. I left the furniture store in a funk because, as fun as I thought it was going to be to buy new furniture, I love the furniture I have. It took me a long time to find it. But (heavy southern gone with the wind accent) as God is my witness, I will shop again!! I'm down but not out for the count.

yardhippie 0 #25 March 9, 2007 I had a king size bed from the time i was 14 until I was 25. Much of that time I had satin sheets and other "enhancements" I always slept really well in the water bed, and our new bed is a king size comfort top, but recently Ive not been sleeping very well. I suggest buying a bed that suited to your sleeping position: back, side, stomach, etc. Our bed is quite firm and I like to sleep on my side, sit those two dont work out too well.
