200 "Definitive" Albums ... whaddya think?

Recommended Posts

This is not my list; I got it from here.

I can't take too seriously any list that has Revolver at number 42, just above Slippery When Wet, not to mention any list that includes Creed:S. According to this article it's supposed to be the 200 albums every music fan should own. I stopped counting, but I definitely own well less than half.

Well, these lists are typically just a starting point for long (usually drunken) arguments, but any list that has four Metallica albums and one Hendrix album is probably full of shit, I don't need to even read the whole thing. :P

And don't even get me started about Celine Dion...>:(

Well if you're gonna be at H-Town this weekend ... let's argue away. I'll be down on Saturday. B|

(Although it won't be much of an argument when I generally agree with you that this is one of the least definitive lists I've ever seen!)

I cant take too seriously anyone that thinks they know what I "should" like and compiles a 200 item list telling me what they are. :S

It was put together by industry people. By telling you what you *should* like they are also telling you what you *should* buy.:D:D:D

Why the hell is The Clash's London Calling album not listed? It's worthy of a top 10, if not number 1. It's one of the best albums of all time.

SWEET! :)
I would never be "stuck" with seeing you...but sometimes the pleasure of seeing you is enhanced by how much of you I get to see. :)
