iluvtofly 0 #1 February 28, 2007 New show on Fox right now. It's hilarious. This first guy is a complete moron. The 10 year olds are doing better then him.
SkydiveStMarys 0 #2 February 28, 2007 Most of the things that my 5 grader is learning in school, I learned in my 10th and 11th grades in high school. I always have to "think" for a minute when I try to tackle his math homework....ALWAYS! BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude. skydivermom 0 #3 February 28, 2007 No, not yet. I'm homeschooling, and my oldest is in third grade. When I start teaching 5th and 6th, then I'll worry about that.Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:

examiner2 0 #6 February 28, 2007 I have no idea of what I learned in 5th, and the sad part is that i'm in college.
SBS 0 #7 February 28, 2007 This guy got all his questions wrong. 1) what month is columbus day? 2) true or false, polar bears mainly feed on penguins. 3) the area of a triangle is 16 sq centimeters, the base is 8 cm, what is the height? 4) who was the first president to be impeached? Some of the questions are kind of random, so not saying that I would get them all...but I would also not get them ALL wrong. It was pretty bad. -S_____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...

They are (so far 50%) culturally specific so Qs 1` and 4 are beyond my inherent knowledge baseYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! wildcard451 0 #9 February 28, 2007 The problem with that show is that you get older your knowledge becomes more targeted and quite frankly, if you are a lawyer, you don't give a flying fuck about the area of a triangle.... And quite frankly, I don't get Columbus day off, so I could care less about when it is....just more meaningless holidays. I actually bet that the smarter someone really is, and the more sucessful that they are in life, the worse they will do on this show. By the way, it's still funny as hell to watch people fail and be humiliated on national TV.
NWFlyer 2 #10 February 28, 2007 This is very true; I rocked the SAT math section, but if you gave it to me now? I'd probably get a few questions right, but no way I'd get into college! I haven't taken a math class since 1988. I'd probably still do fine on the verbal section, because I still exercise those types of skills every day."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

The Florida school system has serious issues. I hung right with it last night, had to think about the area question, but got it right... maybe I should try out?????
