Well, I will start off by saying this is my own fault and I am more mad at myself than anything. Just need to vent a little anger at the guy though. I have been talking to a guy in the classifieds(http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=38662&d=1) about his canopy. Really wanted a Safire 2 149 and he was willing to split this up from his rig and sell it to me seperately. He said he was in England on business and had his rig with him. Well, after a couple emails I really trusted him and we decided on western union payment. I am kicking myself as I right this! The guy picked up his money and has done a runner! His name in the add was Rob Morris. Here is his email: Morris [johnsongruger@yahoo.com] Feel free to write him:)
Anyone ever had any experience like this and been able to get anything back? I just hate people who steal and screw you over like this! Now I am out $700 and still looking for my Safire! This sucks!

Doh! Let this be a warning...dont pay via western union. That should have rang alarm bells right there. I very much doubt that his name, e-mail or location are correct or still in use.

I started e-mail with this guy.. I didn't trust western union so I asked for something a little more secure, he suggests an escrow serive.. no problem...

I go here I register... I look at the site.... I design sites... looks like a template... look a little closer.. I don't trust, they have a california department of corporation # so I call them up and they never heard of them. The site is a scam too, you got taken for a ride by a pro. I was sooooooooo close to buying this it's not even funny. I'll be reporting him left right and center... the fact that his user is STILL on dropzone.com means you should have tube9999

Talk to the mods here, have that guy's ads removed and have him banned from the site.

I feel like a witch hunt... I've already reported the escrow to the California department... now I think his ISP, yahoo, and any other agency that I can find that deal with him will be informed :-)

I hate people that pull this s***... and worse... I still have yet to find a parachute!! damn rentals...
