MrHixxx 0 #11 September 20, 2004 15 years CNS as of yesterday. I can't believe how fast the time goes by. Then again, I think the first year was longer than the last 14 all together. I wish I could help you with adjustment, but skydiving was post party years for me. Actually, I think I needed it to continue sobriety. Skydiving definately speaks to a similar need in my psyche. One of the most important things my sponsor ever taught me was to channel those "character defects" in to positive activites. I guess it's still working. peace, Hixxxdeath,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
JumpNFly 0 #12 September 20, 2004 10 months 10 days, and barely hanging on, I guess that's what's going on with me... Just confused and all that fun stuff... I'm in SoCal, and have just had a really hard time finding others who I relate to... Plus, i haven't been in the air in the last year due to injuries, getting clean, and another blown out knee... I guess I know I'm in trouble, and I'm trying my best to stay... The key to walking on water... Is knowing where the rocks are

aftermid 0 #18 September 24, 2004 I've been pretty tight with Bill and Jimmy K for seven years. I'm new to the sport jumping in Maryland and Delaware. Sometimes we never know where we are until we've already gone. Anytime something feels like it's too much to bare, just remember it's just part of the inevidible journey of self discovery. If you walk backwards on the journey you'll just have to cross the same path in the future, so if you wade through it now, you might not have to cross it later. What's more, when you cross a similar path in the future, you'll already be prepared because you'll reconigize it for what it is, not the monster it might appear to be. You can't have the good without the bad, and the bad tends to make the good pretty great.
