As far as official before/after pics:

1)you don't have to send em to me. Ladyflyer can hold them all. And I will talk with her about whether or not your befores will be going up at the start of the contest like ours.
Personally, I think fair is fair. If you show everyone where you are now, then there is a little more standing motivation to not be still the same come May 1.

2) Pics must be judgeable. If there is one less wrinkle in your jumpsuit vs someone who we can see a visible toning of the body, well then, I'm sorry, you lose. I'm gonna be hanging it all out there when I start the guys contest (well most of it anyway) and I am as out of shape as you get at the moment.

3) Pictures must have something with a current date on them. For example: current newpaper, current Parachitist, a print of this thread, ect...

4) And first and foremost, this contest is to prove to ourselves that we can do better then we are today. Anyone making rude, offensive remarks about the way someone looks will be disqualified from the contest. Remember, the people entered into this contest are wanting to improve themselves. So let's help them out by positive encouragement.

This picture thing is too much for me. There's no way strangers on the internet are going to compare my body to others. If that's what you need, go for it. Definitely not for me, though. Sorry.

I will post how much weight I'm losing, inches, and fat % though just to keep up. I am starting a fitness group out of my home, so people I know will see the difference. That's all the motivation I need.

Another way to get date confirmation:

Go out in public naked. When arrested for indecent exposure, ask for a copy of the mug shot.

What about "rude, offensive remarks about the way someone looks" that are encouraging? Like the kind that you might hear passing a construction site or from the guy riding in the back of the pickup?

I thought for a while on posting my pic (which I will do when my husband gets home to take a couple for me). But all of us that aren't skinny or 20 years old or have a fat roll spend all of our time hiding behind baggy clothes and not posting the pics, which only serves to make us feel even more alone. So, I'm going to post mine, and hope a couple of others suck it up and follow my lead. Besides, those of us with a bit of fat to actually lose will probably kick ass in the competition because in three months we'll have a more noticable difference.

So someone who is at least a size 10 or greater please let me not be all alone in flaunting the flab

Edited to add... it was actually the short hair that made it harder to post that pic than just my body type. I donated 10 inches a couple of weeks ago (my 5th time donating hair) and I'm still incredibly self conscious about it.
