I'm not a fan of sweets but there's nothing like raw chocolate chip cookie dough! I prefer it to the cooked cookies. You really have to refine your tastes! boinky 0 #5 February 5, 2007 I don't normally eat raw cookie dough. But I like my cookies baked VERY soft. Same thing for freshly baked bread. If it's done, or especially overdone, I'll pass. The key words are cookie dough ! You can't eat cookie dough if it is cooked cause then it is just a cookie.... RkyMtnHigh 0 #7 February 5, 2007 The feedback on this poll is important since I'm about to make a lot of cookies for my customers next week and you are all so far making it clear to me that I might be overcooking my cookies!!! Thanks! _________________________________________

Thanks! Ah, yes, if you're baking cookies for customers, they need to be baked just right. You want to take them out of the oven just before the edges start turning brown. Me, I like them a little bit brown and crunchy. Now if you were to try my home-made ginger snap cookies, you'll probably need a hammer and chisel! d_squared431 0 #10 February 5, 2007 If you are cooking cookies then watch them very closely and as soon as they have a light golden look to them, then pull them out of the oven. MMM so good at that point. Nice and soft but still hard enough that you can dip them in a cup of milk and they dont fall apart. Damn you! now I want me some cookies...(thinks)I do have brownies on the table....TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

matt1215 0 #12 February 5, 2007 I like mine cooked, but cookies, like bacon, are very easily overdone, and that just ruins them.

Put a piece of bread in the container with the cookies. The bread will turn rock-hard and the cookies will stay soft. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. snowslider 0 #15 February 5, 2007 If you have a Costco around, go there and buy a tub or two of Otis Spunkmeir cookie dough balls. They are perfect for making large amounts of fresh baked cookies, and they taste better than home made! Fast, Cheap, Easy and Delicious!!!
Lindercles 0 #16 February 5, 2007 While I'm sure the cookies are delicious, I draw the line at putting anything called "Spunkmeyer" in my mouth.
