so my roommate has been sitting here for like a good hour trying to figure out why his wireless net routher wasnt working. Im sitting onthe couch watching a movie laughing at him. He had the modem turned off....and he's sitting there wondering why theres no internet connection on mine or his computer...lol. Everything worked upon the touch of one button

I heard a good way to get someone to check if something it plugged in without being an ass and saying, "is it plugged in?"

You can try blowing on the plug. Sometimes the plug just gets dirty and if you pull it out, blow on it, and replace it, I have seen it solve similar problems before.

couple weeks ago, I downloaded all the stock drivers for a good friend (who shall remain nameless cause he is a poster here) and took the cd with the drivers over cause he couldnt access the internet and thought it was a driver issue....

after a while i noticed that he didnt have a power light on the modem.....
