Has anyone ever had this problem

Recommended Posts

Well ive been dating a non skydiver for three months and he said this to me last night " I dont want to come see you jump because, when your talking about jumping theres a light that comes on in your eyes, I dont want to see it when you are jumping " so I asked him if he was jelouse about me doing something that makes me happy.
He said he was then dumped me this morning.
Does that make sence ????
Anyway I have come to a conclusion I will now only date skydivers !

You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky)
My Life ROCKS!
How's yours doing?

I don't know if the solution for you is to date a skydiver or to find a man who is passionate about something in life and is secure enough to enjoy watching your passion for something as well.

Ideally, your passion for your sport should get him excited. It's what makes you, you. And no one who cares about you should want to take that away.:)

That or perhaps her passion will rub off onto a whuffo and he'll take up skydiving himself... :)

he did say maybe thats what he should do but doubted he ever would

well then he probably won't... but that doesn't mean there aren't others out there that might...

don't get me wrong there's always a limited chance that you'll find the right guy at a dz... but... you may not and might alienate a few local jumpers along the way...

I still think it's possible to date a non-skydiver who won't be threatened by the fact that she skydives, even though he may never want to himself.

But I could just be fantasizing. :)

I think it's entirely possible but it needs to be someone who has their own passions so they won't whine about you always being at the DZ.

Yep... that's how it works in many of the relationships that I've seen that work.
