Glad to see this is getting talked about. This is definitely a site for everyone to get involved. We will have a lot of cool stuff on the way, I promise. Always let me know about new ideas too, this is a new project and it's growing really fast, so keep the ideas coming in.

You guys are awesome!

That's the cool thing about this site. If you jump and you are in school, that counts as a school club. If you want a website, we can do one at collegeskydiving.com/"your_school" or something. Just let me know. Every college student out there can compete in Collegiates and in our Virtual Competition. If you need a team, students from different schools can be on the same team too.

Email me and let me know if you want to get this going: collegeskydiving@gmail.com. This also jumpstarts you into having an official club because I can get you all the paperwork, and when you go to your school for funding, you'll be able to show them a good bit of work.

We're in the process of getting a club started up at my school (University of Michigan). We've surprisingly got 4 licensed members and a lot of interest from other people. We just dropped off the papers for a school website so once we get it I'll make sure to pass the link on. Right now we've just got it on my personal account http://www-personal.umich.edu/~jimster/index.html

That's awesome. I'll put your link up and when you guys update it, just send me the new one and I'll change it over. If you need any other club paperwork help, check the site for "Starting a Club" and "Maintaining a Club". I posted some paperwork and some Excel files for keeping track of equipment and everything else. The Excel Files update with the clock on your computer and give you a "days left" til maintenance is due or repacks.

There's more Excel files on the way, so keep checking back.

Will do with the website, thanks for the add.

If nothing else I might be using the repack maintenance for my own since we got approved last month and dont have any club rigs.

Hard part about the north is its so damn cold... sometimes I wish I would have stayed in Kansas or Texas.

Woohoo! DEFINITELY worth checking out! This site is full of helpful information for those trying to start a club, those with an already raging well-run club, or even those who happen to be the only skydiver at their school but want people to jump with (or if you just want to weigh in on whether or not Buckles Long Island Iced Tea is an acceptable alcoholic beverage).

This is great information to know. I have a guy at my DZ (Vermont Skydiving Adventure) that is tryin to get a new club formed at the University of Vermont. Being sanctioned means that there needs to be insurance in place, which since such a high risk activity, might meen that it will not take place. But he is hopefull. I will pass along the fact that this sight is up and running. Thanks.
